After the caravan was destroyed by fire we erected the pre-owned chicken hut. I think the chickens had only just been moved on! 1972-3
Then the interior was plastered with thanks to new members Jerry, Howard and Bill who were all Midland Bank employees. They had moved to Sheffield from London and were so grateful to find a friendly club.
1981. Then disaster, but a new beginning was on the horizon.

We agreed to stop flying for about three months until the build was finished. A great effort from all members.
